Welding gauge with backing gas

The welding gauge is being brought in through a small opening.

How does it work?

  • The welding gauge is being brought in the round filter through a small opening.
  • Afterwards 3 cylindrical shells expand allowing the filter to be supported over the entire length of the weld.
  • The backing gas is being supplied via this welding gauge too.
